Our guides are among the top multilingual in the Galapagos Islands, trained by the Galapagos National Park Service and the Darwin Research Station. Our nine crew members are experienced, well trained and certified by the IMO (International Marine Organization). Safety is very important for us, and for that reason this brand new Yacht has very sophisticated navigation equipment, which has surpassed international safety regulations. We have two Navigations Radars, 2 Sonar and GPS systems, all the emergency devices such as an EPIRB, Satellite signal device, emergency flares, 2 inflatable emergency rubber boats, life vests in each cabin, etc. During our daily excursions we always provide our passengers of two "zodiac" boats, each for ten persons, life jackets for adults and children. The San José is equipped with two 340 H.P. Detroit diesel engines, two 60 KVA and TWO Perkins generators, which power the boat with a maximum speed of 10 Knots per hour.
